I'm so glad I spent my President's Day weekend up in Portland. Although the 10-11 hours drive from San Francisco was a little rough, I had the opportunity to see some amazing views while driving through towering trees and along the rocky coastlines. I was prepared for the rainy weekend so I had a long list of food spots to check out. The list was so overwhelming that I couldn't even post up all the pictures. Almost everything that I tried was delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. Did I mention that everything in Portland is tax-free? It was a nice surprise whenever the waiter handed over the bill as I was used to seeing San Francisco prices. I didn't even feel guilty adding on the dessert at the end of my meals!

The rain did limit a lot of outdoor activities, but I visited most of the places I wanted to see. I do plan on taking another trip to Portland sometime again this year. Hopefully next time the weather will allow for more outdoor adventures!
